fellowship

Looking for a fellowship group to join? A place where you can meet others, learn, ask questions? Then, we likely have a group for you at FCC! Scroll down to see what groups we have to offer. We call them Fellowship-plus because more happens in many of these groups than simply fellowship. Most groups have a learning and service component, through which you can grow in your faith while in the midst of a supportive community.

Don’t see a group that strikes your fancy? Why not come and help us get one started? FCC is always looking to broaden our fellowship opportunities to help persons grow in their Christian faith.

Be sure to confirm these times through the church office, as sometimes they change. The Circles do not meet in June, July , or August.

Jo Ann Apperson Circle

The Jo Ann Apperson Circle meets at 6 p.m. on the third Monday of each month, normally at a member’s home or restaurant. It’s a good circle for women who work during the day. Diana Covington is the leader.

Lillian Merritt Circle

Also good for those that work in the daytime, the Lillian Merritt Circle meets at 5:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month. Meeting location is the second floor wicker room. Patti Pankiewicz is the leader.

Marjorie Griffin Circle

The Marjorie Griffin Circle meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 11 a.m., (September through May) mostly in the Fellowship Hall, but three times a year in homes. Sharon Busler is the leader.

Disciples’ MeN

The Disciples’ Men meet each Thursday at 6:45 a.m. at Mr. Rodgers restaurant directly across 23rd Ave. from the church.  The group gathers for breakfast, fellowship, a devotional, and Holy Communion.  The group also is involved in periodic service projects.

Y.A.M.

The Y.A.M group is the Young Adult Ministry at FCC, for those in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. The group meets monthly for food, fellowship, and faith conversation.

S.A.M.

The S.A.M group is the Senior Adult Ministry at FCC, for those around retirement age and beyond. They meet periodically for short trips to area restaurants and other sites of interest.
